Job Location
This position is with Four Points Land Surveying & Engineering, Inc. which is located at 17 Northport Plaza, Hannibal, Missouri 63401. Projects are located within the tri-state region of Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa. Overnight travel is rare.

As a Survey Intern/Technician, you will have the opportunity to assist in leading a large, vast and diverse range of surveying and mapping projects and contracts. You can explore new technologies and use them to solve complex geospatial challenges. You get to work and coordinate with staff consisting of surveyors, survey technicians, civil engineers, and CAD technicians; work and communicate with clients, public officials, and contractors.
What You'll Do
You will be working on multiple simultaneous projects including the preparation of proposals for a wide variety of survey and mapping projects, assisting with coordinating geographically dispersed survey teams, and taking responsibility for scope, schedule, and budget. ALTA/NSPS Survey Land Title Surveys
Boundary Survey
Cadastral Survey
Court Exhibit or Judicial Survey
Elevation or Floodplain Survey
GIS and LIS Surveying and Mapping

Record or As-Build Survey

Subdivision Survey
Topographic Survey
Easement Survey
Minimum Qualifications
Survey Intern in Missouri, Iowa, or Illinois or the ability to take the Fundamentals of Surveying or Principles of Surveying and State Specific Exam, preferred but not required
5 or more years of experience in surveying
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to learn new skills and concepts
Can-do attitude with emphasis on being professional and respectful
Goal oriented including being responsive, responsible, time sensitive, and proactive
Proficient with basic software including, CAD, Excel, Word
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s of Science degree
Experience as a crew chief or survey manager
